I've been reading Little House In The Big Woods. In this book there is a family that lives in the big woods. There is Laura,Mary,and baby Carrie. They have father that they call Pa.His real name is Charles. They have a mother that they call Ma. Her real name is Caroline. Pa likes to play his fiddle. When it was Laura birthday he played Pop goes The Weasel. He also gave her birthday spanking. On Chistmas Laura Aunts ,Uncles,and cousin came over. Laura got a rag doll and she named it charlote.

One character in The Bad Beginning is Voliet Baudelire.She wears a red dress with a ribbon to match.She is the oldest at of all the Baudelire children. She cares alot about her sister and brother. She even made a promise to her parents to keep them safe.She has a thing for inventing. Anyone that know her know that when she put her hair back she is thinking hard. She thinks her hair is not important.

   It would be really dark if Thomas Edison didn't inproved the light bulb. Thomas Edison is known as the person that invented the light bulb. The people who invented the light could only make last for a few seconds,then it would blow up. Thomas Edision made a light bulb that could last 2 days.When it burn out it didnt blow up. Thomas Edison made a power so every house in new york city could have light. When he finnally got the power station working a near by carnival light up the city! When Thomas Edison died the people turned off the lights for a minute.
